So I am on vacation in the Bahamas a few days ago and snuck away to get a peek at my email and who did I have an email from? None other than my friend Robert Irvine himself and he wanted me to send a message out to all my readers. Robert wanted me to let everyone know that he appreciates your support and because of that support he just finished shooting a brand new season of Dinner Impossible that premieres on Food Network on April 8th. That’s right folks, Michael Symon is out and Robert is back in.
So you know what that means right, well after all the noise we made about wanting him back now you have to watch. So mark it on your calendars, program your TIVO’s and DVR’s because the “real” Dinner Impossible is coming back to Food Network.
One more time let me say it in big bold letters the chef that we all love so much is back on Dinner Impossbile and the NEW SEASON PREMIERES APRIL 8th!!!

I am so excited to see ROBERT IRVINE and DINNER: IMPOSSIBLE tonight. I am glad to see that fans and viewers still have some say in what gets programmed. There is power in the written word. Keep doing what you are doing – it makes a difference.

It’s was nothing but what it does prove is that if you really have conviction about something and are determined you can really make a difference.

I have already sent Food Network an email telling them how much I enjoyed the new Dinner: Impossible episode with Robert and his crew last night, and how great the new, 1-hour format was to give the viewer better insight into the full difficulty of the challenge. I told them how I was looking forward to more episodes and hoped that they would consider returning DI to the Saturday afternoon slot (in addition to the Wed. 10 PM) so that us working stiffs who have to get up early for work on Thursday could tune in at a more convenient time. Don’t know if the Food Network will consider adding additional time slots, but I had to ask!

It is GREAT seeing Robert back on!! I really do like Symon as a Iron Chef…picked him as my fav to win IChef 2nd episode…but for DI…Robert was made for the show and visa versa…my fav shows were the Md Renn Faire and the Colonial Williamsburg…food with history
So Robert, ya want a real challenge? The elementary (Kinder through 6) school my boys go to has closed the kitchen (in the middle of the school year!!) for the rest of the year and are serving COLD dishes every day to hundreds of kids (and if it helps my 11 yr old is a MAJOR fan of your show!!)…
And if that one doesn’t entice you, we’re involved with scouting (both cub and scouts)…come on down to one of our mass get togethers anytime…
And how’s about more southwest/cowboy/BBQ challenges!!!
Keep it Impossible…A TRUE fan!!
